Jin10 reported on October 25 that leaders from several European countries and NATO officials held a “Voluntary Alliance” meeting in London, the capital of the UK, on the 24th, announcing that they would further intensify sanctions against Russia and expedite the provision of long-range strike and air defense equipment to Ukraine. UK Prime Minister Starmer, Ukrainian President Zelensky, Dutch Prime Minister Rutte, Danish Prime Minister Frederiksen, and NATO Secretary-General Stoltenberg jointly held a press conference that day, stating they would gradually exclude Russian oil and gas from the global market and promote the use of frozen Russian assets to fund the reconstruction of Ukraine. Starmer noted that the UK has taken the lead in fully sanctioning Russian oil and gas, with the US and EU following suit, creating a “coordinated comprehensive strike.” He also announced that the UK plans to provide over 5,000 lightweight multi-purpose missiles to Ukraine, with 140 of them being delivered in advance.
