Golden Finance reports that Lightning Network data analytics provider Amboss has launched Hydro, a subscription-based automated layer 2 liquidity procurement solution for Bitcoin. Hydro aims to enable businesses to receive payments over the Lightning Network without the need for complex channel management or centralized escrow intermediaries, a statement said. Amboss said the solution allows users to automatically draw liquidity from decentralized sources to their Lightning nodes on demand, with fees ranging from 3.5% on initial setup to payout fees as low as 0.003%. Hydro is powered by Magma, Amboss’ marketplace for buying and selling lightning channels, sourcing liquidity from the open market. Sellers can earn Bitcoin yields, provide liquidity to Magma, and open Lightning channels to online stores, wallets, and other Lightning users without the custodial risk of a centralized yield generation platform.

Allseated said it is spinning off its Metaverse division into a separate entity. Founded in 2011, Allseated offers a collaborative space visualization platform that allows venues and planners to create virtual walkthroughs for potential clients, including tools for building 360-degree views of buildings and designing floor plans. In 2022, Allseated raised $15 million in funding and launched the "Enterprise Metaverse" in May 2022. Allseated’s latest funding round brings total cash in excess of $43 million, including investments from Magma Ventures, Level Structured Capital, Vestech Partners, NYFF, and WGG, to further expand its spatial visualization and collaboration platform. Liner complements Magma, the lightning liquidity marketplace Amboss launched last year.
