According to Mars Finance, Jin10 reports that the Fed is expected to lower the key interest rate by 25 basis points in the context of a government shutdown and unavailability of official data. Mabrouk Chetouane, Global Market Strategist at Natixis IM Solutions, stated in the report that Fed Chairman Powell must manage the impact of monetary policy on the economic cycle in an environment of multiple shocks, but only some of his “navigation instruments” are still operational.
